About our AI software company

We are a passionate team of engineers, data scientists and strategists on a mission to make artificial intelligence accessible, ethical and genuinely useful.

Our story

From a small Canberra start-up to a trusted AI partner for organisations across the Asia-Pacific region.

Precise AI Software was founded in 2014 by a group of researchers who saw a growing gap between cutting-edge AI research and the practical needs of Australian businesses. Too many organisations were investing in data infrastructure without a clear path to value, and too many AI vendors were delivering opaque black-box solutions that clients could not trust or maintain.

We set out to change that. Our founding principle was simple: every AI solution we build must be explainable, measurable and owned by the client. Over the past twelve years that principle has guided us through more than 150 engagements across healthcare, finance, logistics, retail, agriculture and government.

Today we operate from our headquarters at 30 Thomson Loop, South Blake, Australian Capital Territory 1430, Australia, with team members distributed across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Despite our growth, we remain fiercely independent and privately held, which means our only obligation is to deliver outstanding results for the people we work with.

We have built long-term partnerships with organisations that share our belief in the transformative potential of responsible AI software. Many of our earliest clients still work with us today, a testament to the trust and value that underpin every engagement.

Mission and values

The convictions that shape every line of code we write and every recommendation we make.

Our mission is to empower organisations with AI software that is transparent, performant and aligned with human values. We measure our success not by the sophistication of our models, but by the tangible outcomes they produce for the people who rely on them every day.

Transparency

We never hide behind jargon or black boxes. Every model we deliver comes with clear documentation, explainability tooling and plain-language summaries so decision-makers understand exactly how and why the AI reaches its conclusions.

Collaboration

We embed within your team rather than working behind closed doors. Knowledge transfer is built into every project so your people grow more capable alongside the technology, ensuring long-term self-sufficiency.

Accountability

We set measurable success criteria before a project begins and report against them honestly. If something is not working, we say so early and pivot quickly rather than letting sunk costs drive decisions.

Ethics and privacy

We follow Australia's AI Ethics Principles and Privacy Act 1988 by design. Bias audits, data-minimisation practices and consent-based data handling are non-negotiable parts of every engagement.
